Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bitcoin Power Law (“the Service”, available at bitcoin-power-law.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bitcoin Power Law provides interactive visualizations of academic Bitcoin price models (Power Law, Stock-to-Flow, and others). The Service is for educational and research purposes only. It does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other kind of advice.

3. No Financial Advice

THE SERVICE DOES NOT PROVIDE FINANCIAL ADVICE. All models, charts, forecasts, and data displayed are academic tools. Price predictions carry significant uncertainty. Past model performance does not guarantee future results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may create an account using OAuth (Google or GitHub) or email. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

The API tier is a paid subscription billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at billing@bitcoin-power-law.com.

6. API Usage

API keys are personal and non-transferable. You may not resell, share, or redistribute API access. We reserve the right to suspend keys that exceed usage limits or violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property and Attribution

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Bitcoin Power Law. The underlying academic models are attributed to their respective authors (Santostasi, PlanB, etc.) and remain their intellectual property. If you reproduce, embed, or reference charts, data, or forecasts from this site in any publication, article, or application, you must include a visible link to bitcoin-power-law.com and cite the source as: Santostasi & Perrenod (2026), PlanB (2019) via Bitcoin Power Law.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BITCOIN POWER LAW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY FINANCIAL LOSSES.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
