1. Data We Collect
- Account data: email address, name, and profile picture from your OAuth provider (Google/GitHub) or email.
- Usage data: pages visited, models viewed, API call counts.
- Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe — we never store card numbers.
- Portfolio data: BTC holdings you voluntarily enter (API users only).
2. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you and maintain your account.
- To process subscription payments via Stripe.
- To send price alert emails you configure.
- To send transactional emails (welcome, billing receipts).
- To monitor and improve the Service.
3. Data Sharing
We share data with:
- Stripe — for payment processing.
- Resend / SMTP provider — for transactional emails.
- CoinGecko — your browser fetches BTC price data from our API proxy; no personal data is sent.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use a single session cookie for authentication (NextAuth.js). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded by default (we use self-hosted analytics if any).
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained until you delete your account. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@bitcoin-power-law.com. Stripe retains payment records per their own policy.
6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us atprivacy@bitcoin-power-law.com.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, hashed API keys (SHA-256), and industry-standard OAuth flows. No passwords are stored — authentication is passwordless.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. We will notify account holders of material changes by email.
